SIX WORD SATURDAY

It's time to join Cate at Show My Face
with another Six Word Saturday installment...

"You're a pleasure to be around!"
(said with a hint of sarcasm)

No longer being a morning person,
it takes Hubby a while to
"ungrump."

  1. No kidding... I'm married to a morning grump myself! (OK, mine's an afternoon grump and an evening grump, too. But he's MY grump, and I love him!)

  2. That´s why we drink "Mate" together in the mornings. We "wake up" together and gradually get over our the not speaking stage. It´s only been a few years that we have been doing this and I wish we´d started this tradition earlier.

  6. Ah yes, I live with a morning grump, too. I just steer clear & have to laugh at how silly he is.

  13. I fear I've been the grumpy one this week. Sometimes it's best to just steer clear for awhile.

  16. Thanks everyone for the comments.
Becca... to answer your question, one doesn't suddenly not become a morning person. It's a gradual change that takes place over time...part of getting older. In fact, for us it's been a role reversal as I used to be the one that loved sleeping in and Hubby was the early riser. Now, if I don't get up with the birds it can take me a while to ungrump."

    Joanna...Thanks, I think he's handsome too...in a grumpy sort of way...

Call me Cate...good advice...wait until after the second cup of coffee...

    Rowena...thanks for stopping by.

Robynbeth...Welcome and thanks for the lovely comment.

Betty...we have the same morning routine on the weekend...unfortunately we tend to spend way too long over coffee and the morning paper.
