THE FULLNESS OF A DAY

The bright cool day Saturday was a welcome reprieve
from the hot, humid weather
we've been having of
late.

A wonderful day
for a morning walk
with

...me, myself and I

...a full day of gardening

...supper at a friends cottage,
... our first corn boil
of the
season

...an evening swim
and kayaking
...while watching
the sun
go
down.

  2. Wow! Awesome pictures! Can't believe you got to have corn, RIGHT off the stalk! Sounds like you had an awesome time! I'd be afraid to swim in the lake tho, I grew up with a pool, and am afraid of any water that I cant see the bottom of! LOL

play hide and seek, or just sit and hide from the world!!!and that lake is simply divine!

  9. Love, love you pictures. Do you live close to a lake? That would be my dream come true to live close to water.

  10. We don't live near by lake but we have plenty of lakes in our area, within a 10 - 20 min. drive. If I lived next to a lake I would be in it every day during the summer.

  11. If I had to choose to be in someone else's shoes for a day, I pick you, on Saturday, wherever that was and with as much corn on the cob I could get my hands on. What a lovely day!

  12. Thanks Elle Bee. It was one of those days that don't come around all that often which makes it all that much more enjoyable...a gem amongst the pile of junk jewelry.
