Yea! I've been awarded the MeMe Blog Award from Jules over at Naturally Jules, so I get to talk about me.The rules to this award are as follows:

So, where to start...lets see...
1. I see my life's "cup" as always half full.
2. I am a very shy introvert.
3. I was drunk the first time I met my future mother-in-law 34 years ago and I haven't been drunk since...feeling mighty fine maybe, but not drunk.
4. I am a "yogurtier" ( I make my own yougurt) and while hubby will eat it only after it's been sweetened with...like three teaspoons of jam, I eat it "straight up."
5. I love reading the morning newspaper but I have to read it "in order" from beginning to end, so don't mess it up on me...same with the Reader's Digest, I have to read it from cover to cover and not skip around.
6. After years of wearing nothing but sneakers with orthonics due to foot problems, I am now able to wear more stylish shoes and have developed a passion for them and have amassed a small collection already.
7. I have a thing for purple although I recognize that my passion for purple is directly proportional to my sister's distaste for the color, and I will wear it when ever I'm around her just to make her "see purple."

It is now proudly displayed on my side bar, and I sincerely apologize to her and the 15 bloggers that didn't receive the reward due to my stupidity, but I do promise to brush up on my blogging etiquette.

3. Dawn of an Old Age because I enjoy Dawn's photos and musings..
4. A Glimpse Into Midlife because at 52, I have an interest in everything "midlife" and because Betty has a daughter named Marisa.
5. Delights of The Heart for Marilyn's insight and her love of linens.
6. Jujubes Coastal Cottage, a newly discovered blog but I'm liking all the ideas Marlene has for transforming discards into new treasures.,
7. And finally, Mel at From Clutter To Shine for having me convinced that "I am a goddess."
