WINTER'S DUSTING

Winter's Dusting

Winter's dusting

silently blankets

the earth with down

clinging to bared branch

bringing renewed beauty

to weary gardens

and woodlands

cloaking the world

with pureness.

Winter's dusting...

hushed

untouched

...serene.
