As you can see, from where I stood in Nova Scotia,
the
lunar eclipse was pretty unspectacular
...I caught only glimpses before the
clouds
totally obscured it.
What was remarkable about the eclipse of April 15, 2014 was:
I got up at 3:30 to watch it,
and
I was able to stand for 45 minutes out on my back deck...in my bare
feet!
