Jamie's question this week for Wish Casting Wednesday is;
"What do you wish to experience?"
"What do you wish to experience?"
I would like to experience just a smidgen of the rush...the euphoria that some people claim they get from running or working out. I'm not asking for anything orgasmic here...just a warm, total body feeling of "umm...this is good"...sort of the feeling you get when eating a big slice of cheese cake.
For awhile this summer, I had it (read Pumped) and I loved the feeling of accomplishment while it lasted but it was fleeting. I want to experience joy in getting out there and "doing it"once again.

As Marisa wishes for herself, so do I also wish for her with all my heart!
ReplyDeleteAnd my mom used to use that awful quote of your dad's! I sincerely believe that her attitude caused me to grow up feeling like I really didn't deserve ANYTHING. It's hard to shake it.
Jennifer
oooh and I want to hear all about Nova Scotia!
ReplyDeleteI'm married to a Canadian (from Alberta), and we've talked about Nova Scotia as a possibility if we ever move up there.
As Marisa wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.
ReplyDeleteMay you get your groove on and feel pumped!
Awesome Wish! As you wish I wish for you as well! Try yoga, I get that rush relaxed feeling from Yoga, and it is sooooo easy on the body, so good for exercise and stretching and keeps me all balanced and centered!! You'd love it! ;)

As Marisa wishes for herself, so I wish for her also, may it be so... May you get that rush you are looking for back.
ReplyDeleteAs Marisa wishes for herself, I so wish for her also
ReplyDeleteAs Marisa wishes for herself, so I lovingly wish this for her also. xx
ReplyDeleteLove this! I'm just about to start exercising again and know I need to go through that painful part where it's all such an effort... Just keep remembering that euphoria - it will come back!!
ReplyDeleteAs Marisa wishes for herself, I wish for her also.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I understand the need.

Just find an activity you love! I also find that if you think you've got to do it for an hour, it's hard to do it. So I like short intense workouts that are 20 - 30 minutes.
ReplyDeletenever once, in all my years of working out have I EVER felt that rush, the zen, the "wow" of working out-- but I keep reminding myself to "just do it' as they say and eventually the regular routine of exercise makes it feel better.
ReplyDeleteI wish you you everything you're looking for.

That feeling is a great one isn't it?
I see you attaining that feeling once again with the ability to tap into that energy (euphoria) whenever you want:D
I used to get that from dance, but haven't worked at any form of exercise enough to get there in a looooong time.

Plan a day to run away and experience something new and adventurous. We all need it some days.
ReplyDeleteAs you wish for yourself, so I wish for you too! *hugs*
