A GREAT WEEKEND

A sunny Saturday spent at our daughter's home
...picking high bush blueberries
...a lovely vegetarian Indian lunch

...topped off with a swim in the lake

I may be ballsy enough to post my age and weight,
but this is all you will ever see
of me in a swimsuit.

Sunday was a day of "getting things done."

...blue berries,
cleaned and waiting to be "pied"

...shredded zucchini
waiting to be "muffined"

...and chopped zucchini
waiting to be "pickled".

Why is it that the dropped berry
always ends up
under foot?

Chocolate Chip Zucchini Muffins
Sweet Mustard Zucchini Pickles
...and
I'm pooped.

...the pies will have to wait
for another day.

...hubby's favorite way of eating his veggies.

  3. Thanks for the comments on the muffins. They do look good and are simply delicious, although I have to admit, they were my second attempt. The first batch I completely forgot to add the sugar, but all was not lost...they simply became Zucchini biscuits...my slip up lead to the creation a perfect recipe for biscuits that I will be making often.
