I think the virtue of Goldenrod is it's beauty.There's nothing more lovely than a field of goldenrod...plus it's the first sign that fall is on it's way. Goldenrod gets a bad rap from allergy sufferers although I just read in an article that it's not to blame. The real culprit is ragweed and molds in the soils this time of the year.
