Not my favorite month, but the birth month of some of my favorite people. My Dad, god rest him, my hubby, my father-in-law, and my mother-in-law! So, for all those Lions out there, here's to you and your month!
Usually August is the worst month for hot weather here in MN. We suffocate. For some reason the weather is much cooler and a little wetter this year. I'm not a fan of August either. It reminds me that summer is almost over and the kids are going back to school. Aaaaah, bring me back to April or May.
Hello, Marisa! I've had a lovely time playing 'catch up' on your recent posts. July was such a busy month for me and I was pleased to be able to turn the page of the calendar to a new month that isn't chock-a-block full of deadlines and annotated dates! Whew. Time now to visit all my favourite blogs...
I see that August is getting you down a bit - the thing I don't like about August here in the northern hemisphere is that it's getting closer to winter....brrrr. And, to make matters doubly worse, we haven't had a summer yet!
Oh yum to your Rosemary bread - I am definitely going to pinch your delicious sounding recipe and make some next week. Hope mine looks even a fraction as scrumptious as yours does!
Pox on those 'guys' who became followers only to get more visits to their poxy pages! I think it happens to all of us from time to time....
